Remove the tarpaulin in good time before launching.
 - 
                
Wash the hull with a regular shampoo and a soft brush.
 - 
                
Wax the hull, if necessary.
Use a standard boat wax.
 - 
                
If there are small scratches on the hull or if some of the surface gelcoat has lost its shine, use a rubbing compound on these areas before polishing.
 - 
                
Paint the bottom with antifouling paint.
 - 
                
If the batteries have been removed, put them back and check the electrolyte level in the cells.
Check the condition of the batteries.
 - 
                
Check all cables, clamps, engine mountings and other fastenings.
 - 
                
Check the steering before launching.
 - 
                
Check the instrumentation.
 - 
                
Close all water drain plugs.
 - 
                
Check that the seacocks are tight and in order, check for any frost damage.
 - 
                
Check all pipes, hoses and cocks.
 - 
                
Make a note of any frost damage.
